Dateline: NAVI MUMBAI — The Panvel Municipal Corporation announced on September 22, 2026, that construction has begun on a 25-bed free dialysis centre in Kharghar.
The Details
Critical healthcare infrastructure is expanding rapidly in Navi Mumbai. On September 22, 2026, local authorities announced that construction work is actively underway for two new, free dialysis centres.
The Panvel Municipal Corporation is spearheading the initiative, placing one of the 25-bed facilities directly in Kharghar and the other in New Panvel. Once completed, the two centres combined are expected to provide free, life-saving dialysis treatment to approximately 200 patients daily.
The civic body initiated this project to alleviate the severe financial burden chronic kidney disease places on lower and middle-income families in the rapidly growing node. Providing localized municipal healthcare prevents patients from having to travel long distances for critical, routine treatments.
Why It Matters for Kharghar
The promoter of BharatOne Spaces brings a rich experience of 30 years in various fields of business, emphasizing that high-quality, accessible civic infrastructure permanently elevates a neighborhood’s livability. By establishing a dedicated 25-bed free dialysis centre, the municipal corporation is actively enhancing Kharghar’s healthcare ecosystem.
For retail businesses and commercial investors operating near Sector 36 and the Valley Shilp complex, robust civic amenities guarantee long-term residential stability. When a node provides comprehensive healthcare, education, and transit, families settle permanently rather than relocating. This sustained population density ensures that local supermarkets, pharmacies, and daily service providers maintain a reliable and growing consumer base for decades.
